Christmas Markets

You find us every year in STUTTGART and Ulm. Two of the best Christmas markets in Germany. Saturdays and Sundays it is very crowded. In the evening when it gets dark the atmosphere is definitely better. Whereas best shopping time because of fewer people is Monday – Friday during the day.

As we read the Stuttgart Weihnachtsmarkt is the 2nd most visited one in Germany. It takes place in the center of the capital city of the state of Baden-Württemberg between the historical Schloss-, Schiller- and Marktplatz. Have a look at the fabulous decorated roofs of all the stalls. Wow!

Start will be Wednesday at 6 pm before the 1st Advent and it ends at the 23rd of December.

You find us in the Kirchstrasse, diagonal across Käthe Wolfarth, the street with vendors on only one side, in between the Schillerplatz and Marktplatz

Opening hours every day 10:00 a.m. (Sunday 11 am) – 9:00 p.m.

The Ulmer Weihnachtsmarkt takes place around the Ulmer Münster, the tallest cathedral all over the world.
Start will be Monday before the 1st Advent and it ends at the 22nd of December.

Opening hours every day 10:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.

Be prepared that it is cold outside! Much colder than in Stuttgart, Ramstein, Heidelberg,… Wear long Johns!

Search for the Stadthaus that is a modern building next to the Christmas market. In the tourist office at the corner of the building you can go downstairs and watch two different stories about the history of the cathedral – interesting and for free. You can push a button for English language.

Our booth you find in the “Hirtengass”, number 66.
